1803

Every bit as picturesque as it sounds, Penny Hanan's family have been farming red deer on rolling pastures near Orange, Central NSW for over 30 years.

1803 – named after the year deer were first introduced to Australia – collaborates with Australian artisans to produce distinctive and beautiful handcrafted products using the bi-products from the farm.

The 1803 collection reflects the natural elegance that comes from pursuing what is simple and authentic and Layfield has encapsulated this in the distinctive brand identity and marketing collateral. The typeface Caslon Graphique was chosen for the 1803 logotype for its heritage, elegance and sharp serifs that subtly reference the points of the antlers.
